The civil parish of Diddlebury is large, encompassing land on both sides of the River Corve. Major settlements within the parish include Diddlebury Village, Westhope, Peaton, Bouldon and Sutton

Diddlebury Parish Council meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month, except for August and December, when there is no council meeting.

Meetings commence at 7.30 pm with an open public involvement session, where parishioners can raise matters of concern with their councillors, followed by the formal council meeting.
